Yesterday ISPConfig 2.2.31 was released

This ISPConfig version updates ClamAV to 0.95, OpenSSL to 0.9.8k and fixes some minor bugs.

Detailed Changelog
——————

- Updated: ClamAV to 0.95.
- Updated: OpenSSL to 0.9.8k.
- Bugfix: When a URL is forwarded to a URL with a port, the port was not written to the rewrite rule.
- Bugfix: double Co-Domains no longer possible.
- Bugfix: Apache user detection didn’t work on Debian Etchnhalf because /etc/apache2/envvars does not contain the Apache user.

Installation Instructions

Download the ISPConfig-2.2.31.tar.gz from ispconfig.org:

Installation on the shell as root user:

tar xvfz ISPConfig-2.2.31.tar.gz
cd install_ispconfig
./setup

The installer automatically detects the installed ISPConfig version and
performs an update.

I know that you can find examples with a google search “reset your windows password“

Trick two reset your windows password

first open cmd box
and then type :

cd\
cd windows\system32
net user

E.g.
net user “username” mypa$$word

If there are people near you and you don’t want them to see the password you type, enter:
net user *

E.g. net user “username” *
Type a password for the user:
Confirm the password:

Weird tricks in Microsoft word and notepad!
(This is also known for a while on the Internet)

These are some tricks:

1.Microsoft word

A.Type =rand(200,99) and press enter on a blank page and see what happens!!

B.Type Q33 NY on a blank page.This is the flight number of the plane that crashed into the World Trade Centre on 9/11.Do ctrl+a.Click on format button on top and click on the font
button.Change the size to 72 and font type to Wingdings.
See what comes.SCARY!

2.Notepad

Type ” bush hid the facts ” and save it on your computer.Close notepad and again open it.See
what is shown on the screen.Awesome!

3.Last trick.

You cannot name any folder as “con” in windows.It is said no one knows why
including Bill Gates himself.

Installation

The installation instructions for ISPConfig can be found in the text files (named INSTALL_*.txt) which are inside the docs folder of the .tar.gz file.

Update

To update existing ISPConfig 3 installations, run this command on the shell:

ispconfig_update.sh

And select “stable” as update resource. The script will check if an updated version of ISPConfig 3 is available and then download the tar.gz and start the setup script.

If the ISPConfig version on your server does not have this script yet, follow the manual update instructions below.

ISPConfig 3.0.1 is available for download. This release is the first stable release of the ISPConfig 3 series.

ISPConfig 3 is a new Hosting Control Panel rewritten from scratch. ISPConfig 3 is not a direct update for ISPConfig 2. Do not install it on an ISPConfig 2 server. The development of ISPConfig 2 will not stop with the release of ISPConfig 3.
